  • Application/Accreditation Coach Identified (by the District in conjunction with the emerging leader and the local ministry context)
  • Alliance Orientation Seminar (if needed at this point)
  • Begin to use Accreditation Handbook
  • Introduce Shared Expectations

  • Background checks (Cost of $30)

  • Bible Knowledge Exam (cost of $25)

  • Read “Interview Information” (pg. 7-9)
  • Complete “Self Check of Core Characteristics” (pg. 11-13)
  • Review Sample Questions with mentor (Pg. 14-19)
  • Explore Alliance website and literature

Accreditation Interview

  • Spouse present (if applicable)
  • Coach present (if known)
  • 2.5 hours
  • After interview, the emerging leader becomes accredited, conditionally accredited, or redirected
  • Provisional licensure follows if/when the emerging leader is called to a position in a local ministry
  • Emerging leader signs Shared Expectations

Assignments/Provisions

  • Alliance Orientation Seminar
  • 30 Hours of Formal Bible Education
  • Upon provisional licensure, work begins toward ordination/consecration, or church ministry worker license (See appropriate handbook for guidelines)
  • Mentor Identified (by the District Office in conjunction with the emerging leader and the local ministry context).
  • Attend Resonate

  • Generally a multi-year process
